A Self-sufficient party

1.
Having worked in productions of big music festivals and events I could not help but notice the vast amounts of energy that is being used to power up even only atmospheric/scenographic lighting.
As a person who likes those kind of events and attends them myself I had also noticed that the visitors who come to dance, emit enormous amounts of energy themselves.
Therefore I ask myself, is it possible, or how is it possible to create a feedback loop of the space and the visitors? Collecting and transforming the mechanical energy of the dancers and transforming it into electricity to power up the party.

A few years back I had a similar 'feedback loop between the crowd and the lighting' idea which was focused more on the social aspect: using sensors to track which part of the crowd is emitting the most energy and giving them the most 'show' as a rewarding system.

However how these two ideas differ mostly is the cause - my old 'interest/idea' was into manipulating the crowd and seeing the psychological side of how far it can go, whereas with the 'self-sufficient party' idea I would like to create a transparent situation based on equal exchange and look more into the environmentally and economically friendlier possibilities and solutions.
